Student Resources

• Check out or return a book--bring your ID!
• Have a safe place to be--the library is a great place to stay out of trouble and read a book or play a board game.
• Join the book club -- meetings during lunch.
• Volunteer--there is always something to do in the library! Stop by and see Mrs. Gamino!

Literacy is very important at CCMS, which is why we want to make it easier for you to learn about our books and how to access them and access our databases.

 Destiny Online Card Catalog

Sora by Overdrive is our online Ebook and audiobook catalog.  Students will be able to read books in English or Spanish. 

 Sora Reading App

Students can access databases through their Clever accounts. They will select the Texquest icon, select Waco ISD, and enter the password your teacher will give you. 

Chromebooks

Students will have access to Chromebooks in class.  Students will be responsible for any damage they cause to the classroom Chromebooks.  If the student's device has damage, they will be responsible for charges.  Teachers have implemented a check in check out system that checks the condition of the Chromebooks prior to and after being used by each student.

Student ID Campus Expectations

All students have been issued a student ID and it must be worn everyday. Safety is one of our core values, and student ID badges are utilized as a safety precaution for entrance into the building. 

Students need to show their ID with their picture visible to do the following:

• Enter the school building
• Enter every classroom
• Scanned for breakfast, lunches and snack line
• Go to and enter to see the nurse 
• Receive any medication from the nurse
• Go to the library 
• Enter the office area with the counselors 
• Admission into ALL Waco ISD events including athletic events 

ID Replacement cost is $5.00
