Hayley Wilson
Ms. Hayley Wilson
Biography: My name is Hayley Wilson and this will be my third year teaching 6th grade science at Cesar Chavez Middle School and my 3rd year in education overall. I grew up in Goldthwaite, Texas and graduated from Angelo State University in 2018 with my Bachelors in Science. I enjoy hiking, running, and painting as well as love to spend time with my family and fur child Aida (my dog).
My Why: I’m happy to be a teacher. I enjoy the personal connection with my students. Each student is unique and knowing them enriches my life. Teaching is a privilege. As they say, the teacher often learns as much or more than obstacles with determination and a positive attitude. I am most inspired by my students. Every day that I come to work, I think to myself: “What kind of teacher would I want my student to be?” If we foster a positive mindset and give them the backing, knowledge, and confidence, they will grow up to shape the young minds of our future generations as well. This has pushed me to provide the best possible learning environment for each student.
